For years I envisioned being able to see and then capture the MilkyWay, and with advancements in camera technology and some classwork and internet studies I was able to finally catch her.  Allot of the process involves finding the right spot from which to shoot....I found a good one.  

A babbling brook, crispness in the air, the sound of the wind through the leaves then........just open your eyes, stop, breath.......stand in awe!

Sometimes you take a photograph and quickly realize it should have been a painting......................

Doors fascinate me.....I know not why.  Maybe I yearn to learn what is on the other side or maybe just enjoy the curiosity of imagining what is there.....

All gave some.....Some gave all - Freedom is not Free.......Many sacrificed so that we can live in the greatest nation on the planet.  Our civil liberties were paid for and we must never forget those that sacrificed. 

Took a class to learn some tools in PS......had to do some sureal pictures and thought I might share. 

Trip to Kiluaea Military Camp to view record lava activity at the crater and where the lava meets the sea......new land being formed as you watch.......
